So Lucky, after months maybe years of having the same avatar, @journey11 made a change overnight!

Coinkadink? uhh. Coincidence?

I have a measure of frustration with Photobucket. Picasa, Google's gallery, has a great photo editor associated but has earned a full measure of my frustration ... I have to use my computer or phone's own editor but I'm pleased with the convenience of the TEG gallery :). It just seems to take that PRE- fiddling and saving to make it work well.

After much frustration and pirate talk, this photo may show up from my computer, after a circuitous route from my phone.

Thanks, @Carol Dee. It's kind of a PIA to post messages on my phone, due to how small the screen is, etc. But doable.
@majorcatfish, I will try it that way, Thanks. I know I need to go back to Best Buy and have them coach me.
It's just that trying to understand and absorb what a computer geek is saying, the first time, is pretty difficult.
Lucky I feel the same way !!! know how frustrating it can be

Thanks, all of you, for your helpful tips. I do have an account with Shutterfly, but, again, I am missing something that needs to be done between the laptop and the phone. Fairy dust, perhaps? Incantations?
I am going to the bookstore today, to see if there is a "Windows 10 for Dummies" book.

so lucky, I have a similar problem as you. I'm not to computer savvy. I do not like the small screens on phones and am saving to get the 6 Plus. In the meantime I do it like Major says. I've never tried doing it directly from my phone. I like to use my computer to post the picture to TEG. As far as Shutterfly or picture gallery goes, I know nothing about and don't even want to attempt going there!

I have a resident geek who very helpfully typed out a step by step process for me to get the pics moved from camera to computer. I printed it out and amazingly  still have to use it every time. But it is eleven steps...

I had it wired on my old operating system, but he installed Linux for me which is for people who have a clue....

Sideways or not - I LOVE how easy it is to GET a picture from a phone or camera onto TEG.
I'm on a cow forum and the ONLY way to post a picture is to upload it to a site like photobucket, then copy the super-long code from there, then paste the code while inside a post and hope that when you hit "Reply" it's at least the right picture, no matter what way it's facing.
