potato seeds

when should i harvest my potato seed pods? the flowers are almost all dead now should i take them now, or wait till i harvest potatoes when plants are dead?

HI

I believe I read that the seeds can be harvested when they feel like a ripe tomato. Mine are getting close.

then what do we do with them? i have only ever planted eyes.

You basically let them dry out. Then plant the seeds VERY early in the spring and use the tuberletts you get from those plants as your seed potato. I googled potato seed and there were several sites with info, I just did a quick read through so please double check.
