I like his ideas. The only improvement that I'm going to make is NOT to weld the frame--as if I COULD weld a frame --I'm going to take some of the shoots from the weedy saplings that I've been cutting down and create supports. I did that last year with the chicken-wire circular frames I made for my tomato plants. I shoved the shoots throught the chicken wire and into the ground on one side, bent the top and did the same 180 degrees on the other side. If you do this right after you cut the sapling down, they are really pliable. And clean up is to go on top of my burn pile. I also like this idea because it will keep my potatoes higher than the weeds.
