Chillin' In The Garden
I had one that was living on my lima beans. I named him Chauncey LOL. Haven't seen him for a while. I hope the chickens didn't get him.

I was in the garden the other day and there was a praying mantis on my arm. I tried to brush it off and it ran around my back and I could not reach it then I turned my head and it was on my shoulder! I actually freaked out when he ran around my back, I almost stripped down right there in the yard. I am NOT a bug person, good or not. I would have just picked him up but he was at least 4 inched long and his body was the thickness of my thumb, and I was not 100% those things will not bite you.

anyone know of a good way to keep them attracted to the garden? i mean without importing the 'bad' bugs!

Chickie they wont stay unless their food is abundent...I used to have to buy eggs every other year...but now that I have Chickens I dont need mantis'

i guess that just means i need to plant more stuff and they may come!
