pretty poppies

Last year I got some potting supplies free at a garage sale and there were some seeds in the box as well. I planted them and some grew and many didn't (the person at the sale said some were old so good luck to what might grow) The poppies just started blooming and are gorgeous! I have never grown such pretties. I will have to try to save the seeds for next year.

I agree they are gorgeous! It must be a great feeling and surprise to plant some seeds and have them do so well. I would definite save those seeds.

Oh those are so pretty! Good for you- I always have trouble starting poppies from seed. The poppies I have success with, come back year after year. Not sure if they are self-seeding or perennials? Enjoy those beauties!
