I get to walk with m baby girl Saturday for another parade! This will be the last parade until Aug when she does a parade at a local amusement park. I'm hoping I get to chaparone that one with her.

Follansbee is a small town. Maybe 4 miles long from one end to the other and that's pushing it!

Mine wouldn't quite be four miles walking around it! Parades are pretty short 'n sweet around here.

I know the feeling, the parade coming up on Saturday is maybe 30 minutes long depending on how many entries they get.

My baby girl worked her tail off this week during band camp. They were at the local school for 12 hours a day. She said she was tired but had a lot of fun. She strained her left knee doing one of the routines but made it the whole week. Last night they did a performance for the parents for their parents. I have pictures and some video that I will post later today. I'm so proud of her for sticking it out.

Eagerly awaiting band camp/parent performance pix. 12 hours a day! I say, she should be tired. That may be the trick to keeping a mob, (horde, multitude, throng, assemblage, group, gang, gathering?) of teens out of trouble for a week; 12 hours of marching, playing, and practicing.

@Smart Red I will post pictures of MontyJ's phenomenal efforts soon! I just want to show you all what a huge difference it will be, I know we see it every day and y'all dont. I want the WOW factor when I post the next set of pics.
Now as for the kid, I don't share pics of her every day.... so I want to share my baby girl at her best with y'all

I tried to get some video of the performance but my camera kept shutting off. That's ok because I can get video at an actual football game later this month
