Pumpkin Problem-No female flowers!

My botany teacher used to say you needed hot days and cool nights to get lots of female flowers on a curcurbit. The pumpkin vines here that are doing best are indeed in the sunniest part of the garden, planted right next to the runner beans and corn, on the Western-most side of the garden. Other patches are not so good. I have two little bitty pumpkins and some female flowers on others, and yeah, I was expecting more too, but we'll see how they come along.

*whisper* I haven't even had much zucchini this year. Shhhhh, don't let them hear me say that...
