many different kinds of daisy like flowers. we have the wild purple asters that will grow along the road/ditches here, but when we plant them they end up rotting and dying and getting eaten up by bugs. so we enjoy them as they show up in the ditches and leave 'em alone. the small white flowering variety are very frequent weed visitors here. i pull thousands of them a season, the seeds blow in on the winds. i always like to thing that i should leave some but when nature is providing so many seeds from afar i just can't do that or we'd be overrun. kinda like poplar trees. can't let those grow here either...
