Thank you for the site.. Oh well they are out of stock on every thing right now.. But I can still do my research and line some thing up for next year.

Know of any more sites that sell stonefruit on the smallest growing rootstocks. I will defiently have to do more research on the rootstocks since I have the name of them..

My neighbor had stanely plums. And they trimmed them as a 5 to 6 foot hedge every year. And they still got tons of plums. That is what gave me the idea of pruning in pots..

Last year I grew a whole backpatio garden all in pots.. Even peas. I even tried corn, but a local cat ate them when small..

Thank you garden folks for helping me out.. My family has always gardened. But didnt have fruit trees.. This is all new to me.

Well these same trees I was talking about..

They went on sale.. I mean really on sale.. For 99cents.. So I decided I would try to grow them in pots. At least until I possibley can get my own property. Im going to try to keep one shaped a certain size, like a bonsi tree..

I bought five. 3 cherry, 2 plum

Wish me luck.. For this cheap deal it is worth a try. Or at least a learning experiance..

I took a close look at them.. And they have been grafted.. And since I bought them at a Canned food place.. The tags on all of them had lots of missprints and stuff like that.. Since none actually said dwarf. Since they are mess ups.. You never know.. On 3 of them if appears that the word dwarf was misspelled.. It says dwart or duart.. So maybe I got lucky..

Hi there Sunny! :frow

Well for under $5 you can't really lose -- at least you can use it as a learning tool, as you say. I have to say that cherries might have a chance as they are so tough.

Lots of Good Luck! You will probably prove us all wrong & have amazing fruit........!! :D Keep in touch & let us know how they go. You will need to keep them well watered through the summer -- at least twice a day. :watering

I will try to keep every one updated on their growth.. I want to take pictures of them right now.. But my camera wont turn on for some reason.. Its either the camera or the rechargable battery has gone out.. :(

The two plums look a bit rough.. But with loving care they may survive..
