That is an excellent question! I would have to ask hubby, he was the one who strung it up for me. (My MIL and I were on the ladder putting those bamboo poles up, he had to help somehow.) Got plenty of fishing line laying around since we sit in the backyard and fish often.

It's been really cold and rainy and calling to get down to about 38-40 over night. I'm so worried about all those tomatoes and peppers! I finally got 40 plants in the ground and it took forever, I'd die if I lost them all. They're all mulched with hay, I just hope its enough. :/

Vfem, I don't think 38 degrees will hurt your tomatoes, but it sure doesn't do peppers any good. I'm not positive, but I suspect my trying to put them out early in years past is what kept them from doing well with good sweet fruit. If I would only wait......I haven't grown or bought any peppers yet this year. I'm sure I'll cave soon! :rolleyes:
