When I am out puttering around in the yard I absolutely LOVE having my MP3 going with a local radio station. My favorite to listen to is Big 95 KBGO out of Waco. I thought it might be fun to share with each other the music we enjoy....

I haven't heard that one in so many years !

You do like the new "classics", I say new because my classics are about 10-20 years older than that. I enjoy female vocalists over male. I love blues. My hair stands up on end with Gospel! LOL

And I Love it all from the 20's to Just about the end of Disco..then along came the Heavy Metal!

Once I was a RUSH maniac...I still adore them! Now, though, in my old age I have moved to only hearing Satellite Radio and the tracts are Space/New Age meditative sounds (this can be very cultural in nature)

But, even more, I have taken to listening to Brain Entrainment or 'Binaural Beats'. I do one hour listening every day with headphones.

Here is a link to explain this, but basically it is exercising your brain waves so that in the event of a crisis, you are able to raise your personal threshold and remain calm! (this sold it for me!) I have been doing this nightly for over six months, and there are a ton of free downloads out there...but you have to know what it can do first.

I like a bit of everything. I like to listen to the classic rock station most but I would love me a little hip hop if I could tread above the crap. I had a ban on hip hop for a while. I didn't like all the negative messages about women. I have two girls. But then the 13 yr old found it and now that is all she like. I think that is her way of rebelling that and not putting cream on her elbow...

You have to use headphones. The first two weeks only do 30 minutes a day and build yourself up. You might react negatively to it, so do all your reading and read up on testimonials; I cannot do that for you.

The reason you could react is that some folks use Right Brain, and some folks use Left Brain; this is a bridge to both and it can be shocking.

for instance, there are tracts that utilize Theta Waves, which are present at birth, but as the child ages it slowly lets go of Theta for use in REM Sleep. Adults use Theta only during REM.

So you can see how odd it might feel to suddenly have your Brain bombarded by Theta sound waves! Dreamy Baby! LOL (don't play in the car!)

There are many companies out there that produce and sell wonderful Binaural products, I even have purchased some; those I share will be free stuff, not purchased stuff.
