All our precipitation these days comes as the white stuff. We ended up with 8-10 inches of fluffy, blowing snow. Sunday was nearly as quiet as New York the day it was shut down, but after a late start for school this morning, everything is well plowed and in good winter driving conditions from here to town.
DH was out shoveling the whole driveway three times Sunday and once today. I still haven't found a good way to get out to the chickens. Fortunately they were fed Sunday morning before the worst of the snowing and blowing. I've already found that I can't get outside using the three southern doors -- drifted too high. I haven't investigated trying to go around the house, yet.
Where did I leave those snowshoes?
