Rain in Tucson. That's a good thing, right? Your pic shows rough water and/or flooding. Neither conducive to taking a walk in the fresh rain-swept air.

The maps yesterday showed pretty heavy rains over the Northern Texas area with a chance of dangerous weather. I'm glad you got some of the best.

We've had a lot of heavy storms, but no damage. We welcome the rain, keeping it cooler, but soon we'll have a Texas scorcher! Glad you got rain!

So glad you all in the south west are getting rains. We could actually use some here!

Amen to that, Carol Dee. You've had a bit more rain than I have. This does not encourage me to plant the garden. I dislike watering all the time.
Some farmers around these parts say things are pointing towards a drought summer. I sure hope not. The last drought was so discouraging. Having to haul water and still losing lots of garden produce.

Carol, that's been my thinking as well. In 2012 we had our first spring rain on April 15th and none again until Memorial Day weekend. I waited until the end of May to plant my garden, but the rain just didn't come in any significant amounts after that either.

So far we have not had one good rainfall this spring bringing an inch or more. I am worried that my perennials won't take kindly to another dry summer so soon.
