Yes that is a chicken coop and a small greenhouse in front.

I love that set-up!! What are you using the greenhouse for? Do you do all your own starts? How old are your asparagus plants? Have you harvested any yet? I just planted mine last year....still waiting and hoping!

I am going to dedicate three 4 X 8 beds to onions

any advise on what to freshen them up with besides good old poo and compost ..would onions like bone meal?

lime? I have some of everthing around here and want to grow beautiful onions ..so any raised bed advise for onions?

also your gardens are awesome ..very neat!!! omg I am such a slob!!!

makes me want to go clean the yard :p

We use the greenhouse to start plants, mostly a hierloom Italian tomato we grow. The asparagus plants are 4 years in the 4x8 bed. My wife picked about 150 spears last year. The 4x16 bed was 2 year roots planted last year. We did not harvest any last year but should get a good crop this year.
