Rambling itinerary for Christmas road trip

Would that be like out of Vancouver to Lake Louise and Banff?

It's the Empire Builder route. My in-laws did it a long time ago in the fall and said it was spectacular.

Steve we share the same dream, i would love to shop the flagship Neiman Marcus. The White Plains Neiman is about 2 miles from my house. And of course their is there more upscale store Bergdorf Goodman in NYC.

Leaving Southest, central-est Wisconsin for Little Rock, AR on Monday,
Houston, TX on Tues and Wednesday,
Dallas, TX on Thursday and Friday,
Kansas City, MO on Saturday and back home in
Southest, central-est Wisconsin on Sunday.

Little Rock and Kansas City are more or less resting spots to keep the daily drive to something more managable for an old lady, but we do have places we want to see in both cities.

Son will be holding down the fort and feeding the livestock while I wine and dine and treat his children. It's a rather long drive for a short stay, but a promise is a promise. I think the next trips will be by AmTrack at Easter break and by plane this summer.

I bought an inexpensive laptop (expecting grandson to use it until his got repaired) just days before my old computer quit working. Brought the laptop with me but didn't get to using it much at all on the trip.

Selfies? You all think I ever got that close to my phone? Nada! Gypsy, my navigator, claimed the phone full time for texting her friends. I'm not much of a picture taker (except in the garden) but she did take quite a lot of photos to send to mom and dad. If I ever learn how to post photos from the phone I will share some.
