Chillin' In The Garden
I have heritage raspberries. I started with five plants last year. This year there are twenty two. Although small plants, the roots are doing well.
Ripeness: Even though they are "red" raspberries, if they are red they are not ripe to my liking. I like when they become more of a burgundy and flat (not shiny) color. That is when they are bursting with wonderful raspberry flavor and sweetness.
