I have this old above ground pool made of plastic.

I have been using it for a compost bin for at least 15 years now.

Today I decided to cut it up,it was about 20' long.

I cut 3 sections out of it.

I drilled a bunch of 1/2" holes.

Bolted it together.

This one will be the finisher off unit so it has a notch at the bottom half way around.

I added a leg to support the one side.

I will have two for now.

I am saving the third to make a tumbler unit.

I will call that one "Tumble Weed"

I have not painted them yet.

They will be camouflaged. Stay tuned!

You may have a good point there!
There are so few because I got tired of drilling and was looking forward to getting 'er painted.

Albiet I also use every thing from my yard/ jungle to compost!

Branches that are not good for smoking food gets cut up and layered into the compost pile the add air. After a few times through the pile they start to become compost with a little help.

That plastic pool was wrapped up into a cylinder and screwed together with no holes for years. It worked but I turn it often into that wire cage and back into the big cylinder. It was on cement blocks also.

More holes would be better I do agree.

Thanks for your input!
