btw, how's that volunteer tomato doing that you weren't sure what it could have come from? i have a couple like that this year. one wasn't even supposed to be a tomato-it was supposed to be an eggplant. :/
Unfortunately my volunteer, which I had high hopes for, turned out to be a bust. Very susceptible to blight and only a few tomatos of not that great quality. Ah well, they aren't all winners.

My San Marzanos are quite large for a paste tomato, much bigger than Romas.
