Retired Truck Great Storage

Being a gas guzzler it has come off the road for a few years now.
The motor was rebuild not long before this. I would like to find a nice old car body for it.

The truck holds a lot of parts for me so I keep it for that.
But it is ugly!

Not very pretty!



So this is what I came up with to help hide it.


Now this front yard project is only 2 months old so things are just getting started. :watering

Soon I hope it will just blend in.

You should sell the truck and use the money to buy yourself some nice materials so that you can build a more appropriate storage with a garden appeal.

When you sit in your garden are you trying to imagine the truck vanishing into the camouflage of green? Instead you should remove it because it will only have to be moved later down the road (so to speak LOL).

Even if you could only get a minimal dollar amount for this hunk of oil and toxicity you will have just enough to open the area for some more plantings, or a nice tiered planting stand with a storage area below to compensate. I am certain in your climate that you could grow just about anything. I can see some awesome possibilities; it could even become a favorite spot in the garden.

I hate to be the one that cries 'junk' in regards to parked vehicles, but in this case it is just an illusion that it is slowly disappearing into the beauty of the garden. :/

I can see the full potential of all the various tropicals you have placed everywhere; it truly will be amazing in a very short time. My mind can visualize the abundance and the intense thickness that will become of all these wonderful plants. Just imagine when someone needs to 'cut-out' the truck in order to get it removed in the future, they would have to harm all that time and hard work, that would be a shame for sure.

I would love to sell it but I have to much money in the drive train at this point.
I have planted in a way that it will drive out when I am ready to.
When I find a nice deal on a old car body I will use the drive train and sell the truck body. otherwise I would need to store the motor and trany anyway.

Funny thing is the guy up the road from me with the 36 foot cabin cruiser with people living in it in the front yard!

That happened in my old neighborhood back in TX. The huge thing not only blocked 1/2 of his neighbor's view, it looked really "lived in" if you know what I mean...plus the added folks living on that property had added cars congesting the driveway and even the yard.

Besides junk and cars the boat is the front yard!
