I'm sure Pat is right about rhubarb being toxic to chickens, and I certainly didn't intend for mine to eat it. I just wanted to point out that some was eaten they are still alive.patandchickens said:Well, oxalic acid is pretty universally listed as toxic to birds. Gotta go put the chickens in, do horses and pop a few plants in the ground before it gets dark so I do not have time for extensive googling at present but you could see what you could find.

It seems like the chickens tend to avoid things that aren't good for them though. We have a few types of nightshade type weeds and they never touch those and they also won't eat centipedes.
