Ripe Tomatoes are here!!

I really can't believe the kind of tomatoes I'm getting this season. I've never seen such beautiful amazing looking tomatoes in my garden before. The yield I'm getting has been pretty amazing so far. I didn't do so well last season since I planted them out too late. This season I got them planted out at least a month earlier than last season, I think that made a big difference and hope to not plant late anymore. I've been enjoying these tomatoes in many dishes and their are still plenty more that are starting to ripen. I'm really up to my ears in tomatoes this year and I'm not complaining, keep them coming I just hope to enjoy them for as long this season as I can. I've already canned some tomato sauce and might make some more sauce if more tomatoes will ripen.

It's been amazing this season, I just hope it never ends!! Maybe Fall will arrive later this season.
I forgot to mention, that picture I posted of the Dr. Pepper can, the tomato next to it is so far the largest tomato I've picked. It weighs 1 pound and 4 ounces! I think we should have a weigh in tomato contest too like the pumpkin one thats going on now on the forum.

But . . . I may have some of those little, half-size cans of Canada Dry ginger ale!

If I hold the camera just right, maybe I can make a half-pounder look like a whopper!

Woo, greenthumb those tomatoes look amazing! I bet they taste amazing too!!

I think a competition more along the lines of...oh, lets say..."number of cherry tomatoes on one plant RIGHT NOW" is the only chance i'd have of winning anything related to tomatoes!!
