How to I tell when my watermelons are ripe?

There are lots of ways once you start growing watermelons for a few years you'll be able to spot when their ripe. You could look to the tendril thats closest to the watermelon and see if it had dried out and is brownish, this means its ripe. Another way is to just look at the side of the watermelon thats touching the ground, if its yellowish its ripe.
