Room With a View

I even leave my perennials, for Winter interest as they say, ... brown sticks with brown balls, protruding from mounds of snow... again, the beauty somehow escapes me.

haha, I do the same thing Lavender. I don't really appreciate the "winter interest" as much as the birds. I have seen them munching on the seed heads of some things I grow, so I guess that's something. It does bug me that eventually they all seem to sprawl flat, after getting mashed down by the snow all winter. :/

My view is a town one, but not too bad if I look UP. A huge mountain rises over 3,000 feet from the valley floor just to the east of our little community, and when it's not foggy it's a nice view. Also we have a park one house away with gorgeous, huge ponderosa pines. We can also hear the breeze blowing through their needles and branches from our backyard. :)

Steve, I agree with you. We should be seeing pictures of everyone's views!

Mary
I got a few views for you, Mary.

Masoud! You have some terrific views! Thank you for sharing them...but where's the greenhouse?
Smart Red,
The greenhouse is to the west of my house. It is not in the view from any window in the house. It is visible from the front porch.

Here is when the greenhouse knee wall was in progress. Still looking towards the south, the GH site is to the west of my driveway.

Things are getting a little run down around here but here's a few pics of "PlayStation". None of these pics are new - just some that I have on my hard drive.

Click on the thumbnails to enlarge. Enjoy.
