@Kassaundra it's kinda hard to give up the bottle isn't it? I gave up coloring my hair several years ago. Bravo for you, it is so hard to not shave your head when you sport that 2-toned Hagatha Hair! Your hair is gorgeous, wear it proudly!

I colored my hair for years. Not because I was vain and wanted to look younger no, I have Aunt Claris's hair -- that is I have a halo of white at the edges of my hairline that I have always hated.

When Mom was alive, every 8-10 weeks she would look at me and declare that I was greying and had more grey hair than she did. That's when I knew it was time to reapply the color. Another 8 weeks and Mom would look at me as if she'd never noticed before and declare that I was greying faster than she was.

Finally, the rest of my hair has "caught up" with my halo and I have a lovely coloring of white/silver. I no longer "need" to hide the halo so I tossed out the coloring. Perhaps I can get one of the grands to shoot me this weekend so I can post a more up-to-date photo.
