scissors for paw hair

@Nyboy since you groom dogs figure i would ask you nola my box mix as an abundant amount of hair growing between her toes and it's hard for her to get a grip on the kitchen floor or any smooth surface afraid she going to hurt herself..

how far should i trim it back? and can you recommend a good pair of scissors to do this with?

I use a clipper with 10 blade. It is very important to do. They have small scissors with blunted ends. martha stewart sells a pair thought pet smart. If you look in nail care section of any drug store you will find them. Keeping hair trimed between pads will really help her walk inside

Between her pads should do every 8 to 12 weeks. Question is will she let you do it ? Many dogs dont like their feet touched, I think it goes back to dew claws removed as puppies.

Nola trusts me with her feet, dd gave me a old pair she had Nola just layed down and watched as I trimmed the hair.
Still need to buy a pair these are dull ,it's not a great trim..

My chow mix would get matted knots in the long hairs between her toe pads. I used the little blunted end manicure scissors to trim them out. You can also get them at Walmart, drug store, etc.
