Well, it is almost mid-season so I thought I would do an update. The fruit on the bottom of the tomato plants is beginning to ripen and the plants are still growing, so rather than top them off I will let them grow to the peak of the greenhouse and see how long they will grow. The peppers, on the left, are just beginning to set even though they are huge plants.

I have peppers in the narrow greenhouse bed. They were put in late, after the basil could be moved into the open garden and out of the way. So, the peppers are not any further along than the garden peppers ... yet. We will see what the extra overnight heat will do for them.

What are in your flats?

There is a Yellow Jelly Bean tomato plant with 3 fruits on it - green, forever! It's in 5 gal pot at the bottom of the backstairs. I should hide it behind the tree ...

;) Steve

Steve,
The flats are all orchids, the small plants are hybrid seedlings, the larger plants are almost flowering size.
