Seed Box - Spring Cleaning

I tidied up my seed box today.
It really helped me see what seeds I need to order.

Wow! I totally did this last night too!

I need to take photos still of the after. I'm going to post it on my blog asap. I also did some seed tape to post for another day.

I am so behind on my blog lately.

Me too... I've got cataloged into a database and sorted into 3 different 1-gallon ziploc bags. This has brought a little sanity back to my toddler-tortured, sunlight deprived brain!

I can't waaaaaaaaaaait for Spriiiiiiiiinnngggg!!!

I did the same a couple of days ago. I used to just have a basement drawer, but now I use an old writing desk in the corner room of the basement. One drawer is for seeds in packages, another has saved seeds in glass jars, another has gloves, tin for rubber bands, plastic and wooden row/pot markers & Sharpie, and the last has garden books. I keep a cardboard box with extra empty glass jars. I have a glass top which has one of the huge red geraniums I dug up last Fall (because it's under a North facing window with an outside storm window) which has an old microwave turntable under the pot.
A N Y W A Y, last Sunday I banded together my 2010 (and some 2009) seeds packages to find out what I already have, and what I want to still buy. My little area is almost like the Secret Garden. Nobody bothers me down there or messes with my system, so it's always as organized as I left it.
