Dave - This year I used the milk and soda jugs for starting seeds but then I left them in the sun and the sharpie disappeared. And I had no idea what was what. I ended up the some yellow hibicus when I thought it was eggplant and a whole lot of mess. so maybe something better than a sharpie in the sun.
