Seed Saver Question...

I have only saved seed from ornamental corn, Ducks.

I stripped back the husks but left them on the ears.
Tied small bunches of ears together by their husks.
Hung them in the carport.

Yes, but I've given up planting ornamental corn.

It will cross-pollinate with the sweet corn. I'm almost ready to give up growing anything but bi-color sweet corn for the same reason. It tends to be bi-color whether it's supposed to be or not . . .

"Almost" . . . but, not quite. One of my corn varieties this year is Casino! That name somewhat describes my corn growing .
