I sorta get a good feeling walking on them in my shop. That would be the only beneficial use for politician's names and pictures.

I don't usually use markers, except for seed starting, but you might consider buying the colored ones and color code. I didn't have any colored ones when I planted both my sweet and hot peppers in the same bed last year, so I took the white ones and spray painted the upside 1/2 with red paint, to mark the hot ones.
