I moved them to the garage on top of our stand up deep freezer. It's about 75 degrees on top. Going to try that out and see what happens. If this doesn't work then I'll have to go to plan b. I'm not quite sure what that is yet.

I use a homemade heat box with a plastic sweater box and little Christmas lights. It's not as nice a setup as Ridgerunners but it works well for a temporary startup in spring.
I used what I had on hand so the cost was basically zero. I keep a thermometer in the box with the lights and check the containers on top with a soil thermometer. My peppers are usually up in 3 or 4
days.
