Garden Master
Has anyone here ever planted Seneca Chief sweet corn or know anything about it? I was talking to a man in Walmart's seed aisle last night who said everywhere he goes he looks for it, that his parent's used to grow it when he was young. I told him the internet might give him better luck, but I don't think he was too up on that.
So, it got me curious since he said it was really good, old fashioned sweet corn flavor. I only found one possible source for it here which says it is reportedly a hybrid, but may have originally been an heirloom and maybe could be de-hybridized.
I felt really bad for that fella that he couldn't find his favorite corn. I wish I could have been more help.
