There's a bull's eye over Indiana and neighboring counties this morning!

www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day1otlk.html

If you allow the mouse to hover over the Categorical, Tornado, Wind, & Hail (upper left) - none of it looks very good for Indiana, except that the chance of hail is more in Illinois and high risk of severe winds are quite broad.

That map on the first page of this TEG thread has a lot of circles and arrows this morning.

Here in SE Missouri, it's 67 degrees at 8:30 in the morning. The wind has been howling from the southwest all night, with lots of rain. Recipe for "badder" weather ahead!

Pretty much the same here, So Lucky. Really warm weather after a low of 17 a few days ago. That south wind has been howling. Its been interesting to watch the clouds racing to the north. But today it is supposed to clear up, become much more calm, and turn colder, not freezing for a while but close.

Im not really in that severe weather threat area but you probably are, at least on the fringes. Keep your head down and good luck. Seedcorn come to mind to, plus when does this hit North Carolina and West Virginia, East Coast in general? We have several people there.

The WS seems to be saying "today's the day," Ridgerunner.

I do get a little disappointed at times that they are so focused on the US but American taxpayers are the ones paying their bills. What seems to be happening is that the storms move on across the Great Lakes and into Canada.

I did some clicking on the Watches, Warnings & Advisories linked on that last webpage.

Ohio & Pennsylvania for winds, so I guess that may include one of WV multiple "panhandles." Tornadoes, right now, all of Illinois.

Winter Storms are in Alaska, both sides of the Rockies in Colorado and western Montana. Yeah, the snow is still moving out of the Idaho mountains and into Montana.

Other than that -- the excitement looks like it is all centered in the Midwest :hide.

Looks like it's going to be a roof rattler tonight. We're in the red zone too. Batten down the chickens! :hide

Missed us this time! I hope everyone else is safe. It is 76 degrees here with the sun shining. Feels like May. Lots of straight line winds right now.
