Finished holiday decorating finally.

Tiny town, it cost $4.99 in 1972. We didn't have much money, but saw this and thought "for less than $5 why not?" It came with a string of lights (long since replaced) 2 of the 3 houses, corresponding barns, church, 2 trees, and skating pond with a few skaters. We've added to it over the years but the original accessories miraculously continue on.

And the Victorian Ice Skating Party, a more recent addition.

It's the swan sled that really makes it.

Love the swan sled… all creative holiday scenes right out of a hallmark film.
I have a friend that collects houses and different mini scenes her whole house is all set up for the Holidays. Now if I could only shrink enough to enjoy the scenes inside and join the joy these creative scenes.

That could be a really addictive hobby.

Here is this year's tree, a little sparse, but We are enjoying it! It has One ornament on it, although there are 6 glass icicles strewn with a ribbon. Cat sold separately.

@Dahlia , when youngest DD was 3 1/2 hrs away in Law School, I took the train down to visit. She was living alone, so I bought her a 16 in tall fake tree and we strung lights are hung tiny ornaments on it. She and her sister still have it and most years they haul it out and decorate it, along with their bigger tree. There is one string of (Dr. Who Tardis lights) that has survived.

@ducks4you. Ducks beautiful blues on the tree especially like the icicles ornaments and the kitty under the tree waiting for the opportunity to ? - A,B,C,D, or all the above. 🐱

A poem for Santa’s reindeer is in the Christmas spirit for the holidays.👍
