Connie-you did see the tomato horn worm, didn't you?
The Brandywines and the Yellow Pears are the only things I would hesitate to plant again, mostly because they got very large, but gave less fruit than most. In the case of the Yellow Pears, they went everywhere and didn't taste as good as the ones we grew in Arizona.
I only use acclimated seeds from prior attempts. And most of my plants started from digested tomatoes from our swine. They eat the ugly toms and their excrement grows the seedlings. GROSS..I only wish that it was open pollinated so that I don't have to rely on the seed companies. Aww well ...
