If I traded, then I would have to move to ICE and SNOW land! (shivers) I'd better keep my Southern butt down here in Texas! Still laughing. :gigThere's a Sonic drive in hamburger restaurant in the next block, still better than a tavern and volleyball court. Do you have a two story house? I'm thinking shooting the volleyball with a pellet gun out of the window. :gig

Carol, that's not a beach volleyball court going in is it? Thinking of the uniforms they wear, you might find someone to trade. Or rent out your rooftop and a pair of binoculars for spectators.

Seriously I can see why you want that tree there. I might plant a Silver Maple myself on my side with that there.

Sorry, I can't say anything nice about silver maples. They are messy, messy trees. While they might look lovely far away on someone else's lot, anything close is a PIA.

I would think the tavern owner would like a high fence between properties for several reasons. Him getting rid of the tree might solve that problem as well.

I use a small rake (kids metal gardening rake) to get in between stuff and rake them up. You'll always seem to miss a few though and have to pull those that sprout.

My neighbors have a row of them across the road from our house, but frequently the wind is strong enough to carry the propellers across. Every year they plug up our gutters and DH has to climb up there and clean them out.
