**SNAILS & SLUGS ?????**I'm thinking of using this.

Try adding sand in the area you dont want slugs to invade, i've tried this with good success.
Also cornmeal, apparently they like to eat it and it causes them to die.
You could also salt them, that will kill them but all that excess salt might not be good for the garden.

While the DE was helping, the combination of DE and crushed egg shells seems to be doing the trick. Some of my spinach has recovered and the beans may live after all
