Only garter snakes on my property. Considering that I am suburban, I welcome them as a sign that my area is not fully urbanized - yet. I have nothing against them, they don't bite, and must eat something more troublesome.

I wish I had lizards too, like the ones that lived in the rock pile when I lived in SoCal. If I had a rock pile here, it would just become a chipmunk nest... like the burrow they made under my sidewalk. :mad:

And frogs. Basically anything with legs.

and worms. funny that frogs will also eat worms as i always thought that frogs just ate bugs. a lot of creatures eat worms. that is why when i raise them in buckets i can get thousands of them, but out in the gardens you won't see that many too often...

Snakes will eat hornets too. I fund that out quite by accident, a couple of years ago. I spotted one making it's way toward the hornets nest in the eaves. It was slithering up the rose vines. The next day, all of the hornets in that nest were gone. Never came back either. It was a black racer, down there in SC.
