Me, too--about waiting for the warmth. I'm gonna let my youngest DD, who wants us to set the thermostat at 80F!!, be MY barometer. When SHE ventures outside in shorts, only THEN will my warm-weather seedlings go outside, too.

I have heard of doing this to make worm beds and to get great compost. What I read was to paint the coolers black because worms like dark and to add black and white newsprint to your mix. Worms love them. Do not use shiny coated or colored paper. Let us know what happens.

I have always found I learn the most from things I screw up, so this us know if stuff doesn't go well too. I started my compost last year so I am still learning. Actually this will be the first I will be using any. No idea what is going to happen.
