Chillin' In The Garden
I have just built a raised bed, and filled it in primarily with horse poo. The stuff I got, I thinkshould be aged enough. I am also going to add a load of either topsoil or compost.
The closest place to me who does soil testing is about an hour away, so therefore, I am not going to take in a sample. The soil test kits that I have found that I can buy just test ph. Is this sufficient enough to know how to amend it?
What would be the recommended amendment, if it is just a bit hot? Would you go for topsoil, or compost? I am hoping to be planting by next weekend.
Thanks!
