Here is one of my favorite plants that I hybridized. I split it for sale this year for the first time. It's name is
Yellow Floppy Beach Hat. It may just look like an ordinary yellow because the photograph does not do it justice. It is a very richly sculpted bloom where the petals roll back in a lovely curved way. Very floriferous. Very popular with my customers.

@catjac1975 I am very happy you are having success with your Daylily Farm and sales. This is pretty. It looks larger than the common Stella Dora too.

We will never get rich but, are are least breaking even at this point. My goal was to be able to hire weeders And I have found a very talented gardener to help me out. My back is complaining right about now so it has been very helpful having some assistance. Thanks, Carol.

White daylilies are still considered rare in daylilies. There is no genetic white in daylilies but a few have achieved a close white or near white. 15 years ago they did not even exist.I brought a few near whites to farmers markets this past season and the people went nuts for them. I have a few of my own original plants ready for splitting and selling next season. Names are registered and the easy and obvious names have been taken. So I am looking for inspiration from the literary among you. I hope you have fun with this. The first is a large luscious bloom with folded back petals and a pale bit of yellow throat. It is quite white.

First one: Kiss of Lemon or Tom Cat's Kiss of Lemon
Second one: Kiss of Saffron or Tom Cat's Kiss of Saffron
Third one: Kiss of Sunlight or Tom Cat's Kiss of Sunlight

Of course, these kissable names may be already taken. . .
My fave photo is the first one although all are lovely and the last one is fantastic.
