Obviously after the tornado the friends who sent me the daylilies and irises were thinking 'indestructible plants'!
I have daylily descendants that I originally got 39 years ago. I dug up some and took to my parents, where my mom made a big circle with them in the front yard. They sold that house and dug some to take to the new house. I had a place to plant some and also got some to plant in my yard. They ring around the crepe myrtle right now and when we move, some will go with me to the new house.

Gavin\'s Daylilly.jpg

My three darling Grandsons know there is only one important flower on the planet. They love to help in many ways. Landon, the 2 year old displays knowing how to pollinate. Aidan, 7, showed many a visitor how to do the same. Gavin, 4 drew this lovely daylily. Look at all the pollen-it must be very fertile.
