Speaking of finding weird stuff in food - my daughter found a rivet (like those silver metal things that hold your jeans together near the belt line) in her coffee beans bag! She only found it because she heard a weird noise when grinding her coffee beans!

huh! that's a puzzle for sure wondering how that managed to get from whatever it was holding together (perhaps a bag or an actual pair of jeans) into the coffee beans, through the sorting and roasting process without it being detected and removed. i think that one i would have contacted the manufacturer about as that could damage a grinder or even cause a potential injury.

She did contact the manufacturer. I don't know what ended up going down.

Well, I've TOLD o all about the rosary pea in the bag of senna. Besides that (and a ton of other seeds). I have found plenty of bugs (including a few ladybugs I filed away for later identification,) small stones (including a small bit of what I TIK might be raw jade) bits of burlap, and so on.
