LOL, yeah, now I have all this extra time on my hands. Well, for now anyways...

March 12th is the day. Hopefully just in time to get back into my beesuit! :bee

My 4 year old picked a gallon of green beans for me yesterday. Can you believe that? I need all the garden helpers I can get.

I meant to bring some pics of some of the cool things I've gotten to harvest this year, but I forgot! I had a really good year for my squash, canteloupe and pumpkins. I'm going to harvest my jumbo pink banana winter squash today. They're huge! Like 30 lbs or so. I'm not really sure what to do with them, but they'll make a neat fall display at any rate.

I'm getting ready to clean up most of the garden now and plant some winter wheat to keep my dirt from eroding over winter. I had been so tired up until just recently that I really haven't canned as much stuff as I meant to. Just been bagging it up and tossing it in the freezer...or giving lots of things away. But I'm getting my energy back now. Just in time... This is my favorite time of year! :happy_flower

Jumbo pink banana winter squash, Journey!??

It makes the bestest pumpkin pie :D!

Of course, you'd better get DH to cut it up for you . . . he may have to use an ax :/!
