It is only under my clothing, except a new one on the side of my neck. I suppose I could be carrying home a flea or two from Penny's daycare.
I had thought that fleas prefer dogs, and even if I carried one home, it would find Penny, then be killed by her flea poison. Maybe they prefer me. I am pretty tasty, lol.
We have had fleas really bad in this house before. When I had the cats from H@!!, we got them in the basement and I thought we would never get rid of them. That was years and years ago. Don't want to repeat that ordeal.
I recently changed detergent to All Free and Clear. I hate to think that would be causing dermatitis.
@catjac1975 , fleas can survive a minute in the microwave. Don't ask how I know.

Absolutely it is probably your detergent. My daughter is allergic to Tide. She borrowed a shirt from a friend as a kid and itched and scratched terribly. Her husband thought she was crazy about the allergy and washed some of her clothes in Tide. Guess what happened?

:fl I can't imagine what it is, but I hope you get a clue and soon. I would suggest a small spider, but you said no to mites and that's pretty much what a small spider is.

I presume this happens regardless of what different clothes you are wearing? Jacket? Scarf?

Yes, no matter what clothes I have on.
I don't know for sure that it's not mites. I'm pretty sure it's not chigger mites, due to the bite patterns. We have had warm weather when I was wearing a short sleeve shirt lately, but they bite regardless of short or long sleeves.
Also, I haven't seen any mosquitos yet this spring, but I expect them to be bad, with all the standing water.

Well, it isn't All Pure and Clean, it's Purex Clear and Clean or something like that. It does loosely correspond with the time I switched detergent. I will stop using that for a while and see what happens. :\
