I wasn't thinking I'd burn enough calories walking a mile each day to make any difference in weight. Most days, indoors or out, I walked more than a mile and I have missed 3 days of this routine since beginning in late-December. I've just finished the 3 hour labor per day on DD's fence. I've felt that this work was better than my 30 to 40 minute walks but continued the walking, anyway. I don't want to get out of the habit just yet.
@Nyboy Men ALWAYS lose better and faster. NOT FAIR. I hate to diet when DH is also. I may lose a meager pound to his SEVEN. Gr.... and he isn't really doing anything more than giving up a large mt. dew and donut daily!
