I go there myself at least once a year. It's a very interesting place and there's always something new. They have had better reults getting wild animals to breed in captivity than almost anywhere else. Zoos all over the world send problem animals to them to see what they can do.

California has so much going for it. I always appreciate the places I visit there.

DD wants me to take her to Carmel.

I didn't know what to cook last night so I went rummaging around. Beef shank? OK that's a start. Toss it in the crock pot with some chicken stock and onions. Not bad but kind of bland. How about a quart of tomatos I canned last year? OK, toss it in. Maybe add a bit of celery seed and black pepper. We're getting there but still not quite right. Rummage around in the spice drawer. Beat up old package of taco seasoning? Why not? HEY!!! That's darn good. I'll have to make that again.
