last year! Longer growing season in tornado alley . LOL
The hibiscus got huge. they never got that big in Co. Guess I didn't have them I the
right place.

You're just up the road from Kassaundra and me. Welcome to the neighborhood.

My wife went to a weaving seminar in Grove a couple of years ago. She enjoyed it.

I did some last year and it worked so well there are several things I plan to wintersow again this year. It is finally cold enough to do it now. I was worried they'd come up too early if the weather had continued to be so erratic and mild with ol' El Nino.

Is this the kind you do too, with milk jugs or other containers?

I've got a couple dozen milk jugs stored in the basement, already cut, drain holes poked and ready to go. :) I wish I had thought to buy a big bag of potting soil before the season was out last year because I'm still waiting for Walmart to put some more out. I'll use garden dirt if I don't find some here soon.

I think I will be careful not to plant so many seeds in each jug this time! But overall, the method worked out really well for me on several things, particularly those hard-to-sprout perennial seeds and cool season crops and herbs. The tomatoes came up well, but I should have transplanted them to bigger individual containers quickly because they got spindly on me where I had too many in there. I do most of the heat loving seedlings inside under grow lights, so I only did some tomatoes as an experiment.
