I always plant peas really close in a double row about 4 inches apart with netting in the middle...they come up really thick but I get a good yield out of them...

Oh ok, you mean 4 inches between the two rows right? Just wanted to make sure i planted them ok. I saved room in my garden by planting in double rows which is a good thing.

I'm still trying to get this one inch thing. I went and planted more peas today inbetween my other ones, but I only had enough peas left to do one every 3". Is that going to be ok!??!

Everybody's sounds good!
The 1" thing is they are planting seeds 1" apart and then planting another row 4-6" away from the first one again with the peas spaced 1" apart. Intensive planting to take advantage of as much space as possible.
Hopefully I will get first blooms sometime next week. I can hardly wait.

I planted peas on St. Patricks Day, like I always have, and NONE came up.:( Too cold still I guess.

Yeah you probably planted a little too early, peas like temps above 40 degrees, so you might of had a few nights that were below 40 and that probably affected them. You should plant some fresh seeds and try again.

That should be fine, you'll just lengthen the harvest a bit.
