Spied the Round-Up Sprayer This Year

I'm bad I could care less about dandelions. Yellow or white or green Im ok with them. Or most other things that pop up in the grass. So long as it's not a dead spot I'm good. But I will take up arms like a crusader on anything that creeps into my flower beds. No competition! :somad

Unless it's thistles. Those things hurt when stepped on so I work to get those out of the grass. My girls run barefoot all summer so I can't leave them in the yard to just mow down. I spot treat them when I find them and remove them once I know they are not coming back.

I had that discussion with the farmer who rents our field the first year he planted it. I also checked that he was using only Glyphosate with no other chemicals. Water will work if the overspray is quickly diluted and washed off.

What do you mean "only" glyphosate? That's Round-Up. That'll mess up your garden in a heartbeat. We live in wine country & some of the local vineyards use Round-Up. Fortunately, the ones adjacent to our property do not use it.

Makes me wonder how much of the local wine that we consume is GMO-free.

All round-up is glysophate. All glysophates are not round-up. Generics use different carriers, different chemicals in mix. Glysophates do not kill everything. Although direct sprayed on a garden will cause severe damage.
